ok i,m after some wheels for my steed, ive spotted 4 cossie lattice wheels for £80,no tyres.
anyone know the ET/ if they will fit an escort axle on my lego without spacers .
I reckon theyl be 35ish ofset so will probably touch the trailing arms with escort axle. My 38's needed about another inch to go on the hub.
I had a set of them with 205 50 15's on them. They were fine on the rear but woudlnt rotate on the fronts as they snagged on the wingstays.
I changed them for 13's anyway
Maybe the proper 195 50 15's wouldve solved the probem
ive been offered some 15X7/et 25,the ones i have at the mo are 14X6 et 16,the 14,s clear the suspension by about 1/2 inch, will the 15,s foul?
fitting a 15x7xet25 in place of a 14x6xet16 you will have 22mm less clearance to your inner strut, and the wheel will also extend out +4mm further out of your arch,so I would say if you only have 1/2"or 13mm clearance they will foul your strut
k cheers
If you can get away with a 15mm less clearance to strut, and for the wheel to extend +11mm you could then use standard peugeot fitting 15x7 et 18?
C'mon John, you should be putting 19" wheels on that, 15" wide with 345/35 tyres!
erm...i,m not building a truck syd,its a lightweight fun thang
Hi John, I have a set, (5), ford seven spokes with new tyres, (done just 800miles), they are standard ford ET38's, with 195 x 60 x 14 boots. No
flats or kerbing. Complete with a set, (16), of 60 deg loose collar nuts. See my archive for pic's, under wheels. If any good to you, looking for
around £150 the lot. You would need spacers, and longer studs. Regards, Ray
