Capri had struts not uprights like the Cortina . Some Triumphs had bolt on steering arms?

The steering arms from a mk1 escort are differant to the Mk2 Escort RS/capri. So if yours don't fit then you need the others. Mk2 Escort RS/Capri are bigger I'm fairly sure.

Mk2 Escort non RS are not detachable steering arms.

Hope that helps.

That sort of fits.
I did think that the Mk1 & 2 parts were the same but it would seem not.
I'am sure that that the uprights I have are moded Mk 2 RS2000 struts so I would think they are Mk1 steering arms that I've got.
Thanks again
