Anti-roll bar

Being a car mechanic, and always under or in cars i came across a Mondeo estate rear anti roll-bar. The design is perfect for a locost front application. It's just a litle narrow. Has anyone tried bending or heating a roll bar? Some advice would be great!

I'm guessing the bush tubes are quite a bit wider than standard. It's the only way to get the tube to fit the threaded tube!

Cheers,

Yes, Conrod is right.

Don't forget that ARBs are made of spring steel and heating them enough to bend them will lose all the heat treatment.

Of course they can be heat treated again, but it's not a practical amateur proposition.
