I have just poked my noggin under the Magenta and was wondering what the running gear is off. It should be Escort but the engine and box were Alfa junior stuff. As I havn't got any 'scort stuff to look at, I was hoping you chaps may be able to cast a light??

Front - cut-down Escort Macpherson strut etc...

Back - looks like an Escort 'English' axle.

Wheels - don't know Sorry

Long long time since I've seen one, but the top pic looks like a mk 1 Escort strut thats been chopped and a top ball joint added.

Could be wrong though . . . . . it wouldn't be the first time

Looks like a cut off and modified Ford Escort/Capri susp strut....

Got to be Escort II the threads on the track rods look metric -- Capris and Escort I are all UNF.
