fitting a seirra steering column in ST locost

Hi, I'm hoping that someone out there might be able to help me. I've just got hold of a second hand Stuart Taylor locost (thanks Kissy for putting me in touch with your brother) which came with a escort steering column. However, since I spent the time stripping my donor sierra I want to be able to use that steering column instead. After many hours of looking through various threads it appears that everyone else that uses a sierra column has a different mounting bracket than that which is on my ST locost.
The bracket that I have is a single bar that arches between the transmission tunnel and the outer side of the car.
I'm trying to track down a bracket that will allow me to mount the sierra unit without have to make any chassis mods as I don't have any welding experience or gear?
I thought that I has seen a thread in one of the forums that mentioned that someone made such a thing - typically I didn't book mark this when I found it - Doh!
If anyone can shed any light on this it I would really appreciate it.

Hi
IIRC, the column is secured to the chassis with a bolt on angle bracket, so no welding required. I'm sure ST will clarify and probably sell you a bracket if you dont fancy making one.
