I think they are only about £12 new (place in Bradford, sure someone here will have the number).

At that price is it worth trying to extract a rusty (and potentially knackered) one from a scrap car ?

Other alternative is a Mondeo one -- nonadjustable but quick and easy to fit is just screwed into master cylinder --- buy second hand and cut the brake pipe to get the right pipe fitting.

Im pretty sure the Mondeo ones are available on other fords such as the Fiesta. I know my old Mk4 had one on.
