As I havent heard of anyone running a Capri Salisbury axle (quite a lot of builders, but no completed cars), I thought I would post this image to show
one fitted, I have lost quite a lot of seat room at the rear, but I am a short-arse so having the seats 2" forward is not a problem, and really have
left TOO much room for the axle, any one else using this axle can contact me for measurements etc to get it exactly right, rather than the slight
compromise I have settled for.

Hi Mark,
That's an interesting mod. From your pic, I note the extra diagonal, tubular bracing members, and those additional plates. Are these for your seat
belt lower mounts?
Your welding looks better than mine (he said enviously).
Dick
The lower plates are for the seatbelts, I have double braced them to give strength to the chassis and rigidity to the tranny tunnel.
Another shot give a better view, the outer mounts now have 16g steel fully closing the M1, K1, K3 triangle including the curved wheelarch supports at
the top
