As per title really, now all the mock up work is done on the project I have the front hubs/stubs surplus to requirements.
Have seen others sitting on ebay for daft money, but I dont want them taking up garage space for the next 6 months waiting for the right buyer. What
would be a fair price to ask?
TIA
Jay
On here they'd expect you to pay them...
Put them on gumtree first, if no luck then ebay, just ask the same silly money as every one else. I just sold my Sierra engine and gearbox for almost
1k in the end and they paid for shipping. If the right buyer is out there they will sell.
Really is incredible (to me) what folk believe their stuff is 'wurf' on Ebay (and other sites of that ilk). Always assumed simply a case
that the listing is for their amusement purposes. The rusty old Cortina hub crap, motorcycle engine crankcase covers that have been pre-crashed, etc.
etc. just infinite trash.
Everyfink else is usually a 'ezy fix' when clearly, it just isn't. It's reduced coz its winter, goin to put it up in summa, wurf
moor, bargin. FFS!
If they were mine, I'd simply weigh them in the next time I offloaded the next pile of project wastage, as I do.
£125 to £150?
Everything is worth what someone will pay. I sold a dash knob from the interior of a pug 205, a decade after I wrote it off, for about a tenner. I bought it from a scrappy for 50p "in case I needed it". If someone can't be bothered doing the legwork, they'll pay for you to give it to them. On the other side of the scale, I bought a used kitesurfing kite for 1900 quid. Used in 10 times in 2 years (it was still a current model). I couldn't flog it for more than 600, I had it up for sale for over a month.
