The bit circled above, having just swapped from Sierra calipers to Hi-spec I need to change the ends of the handbrake cables to suit....Hi-spec want £20 each per cable plus VAT and there is nothing wrong with my cables other than the wrong end on them which I can remove with an allen key

I used to have a big box of clutch cable ends, ill have a look in the morning.
could you not get some clevises off fleabay and solder them on to the cable ?.

MK should be able to supply Allan key ones, not cheap. Friendly AA/RAC man could supply part of there repair kit I believe.

Boat chandlers can probably crimp you one on, might be worth asking around if you have one local to you.

Car builder soloutions?

Thanks for the replies so far

I have looked on ebay but very few have any dimensions and I don;t want to have to buy half a dozen different types to hit upon the best size!

No boat chandlers around here.

CBS are only a few miles from me but I can't see anything in the website....if I don't get anywhere soon I will pop into them next time I am passing on the off chance they have something

Becuase I have a million and one other bits to make and this was one I should be able to solve with a couple of £

Turns our CBS might have what I need only they call it a shackle and not a clevis, hopefully I can pop in at lunch time today and sort this out
