Jeffers_S13 - 22/9/04 at 09:33 AM

How did others do this ?

Sticky back fasteners on the axle itself ? ?

I don't think sticky fastners are acceptable for SVA

A piece of rubber pad behind the pipe and a cable tie around the axle to secure the pipe

Flexi's where needed and lined P-Clips where not less than 300mm apart.

p clips on an axle tube hellfire

Yep P clips on mine.

Tack weld 3mm setscrews at intervals then put on P clips and fasten with nut.

Larger 6mm setscrew welded on side of banjo for the brake line T piece.

Welded mini bracket on top holding flexy pipe for movement.

I welded some steel strips on to the axle and put some plastic pipe around the brake pipe and then bent the strip around that. Rescued attachment DCP_3959.jpg

Uncle Henry welded strips on my axle when he made it, just for fixing the brake pipes

Same on my Capri axle. No rubber involved.
