The Haynes books applies to cars using IRS on the back end and sierra front uprights - if you have bought a locost with a live axle I would use uncle rons book. I have a copy you can have for a tenner inc post.

Look under 'info' in my photo archive and there is a drawing for setting up the front suspension brackets. Ignore the top shock absorber bracket as this is for longer shock absorbers.

Hi

Only tack weld the brackets to the chassis. Then assemble your uprights wishbones etc etc and measure the Castor you have. You want a min of 5 Deg Check by measuring the correct way of turning the wheels not by simply measuring the angle difference calculated by bracket position.
