Hi there i need some help here if anyboady could pls
bought a chassis based on a locost without wihbones brackets,
so when i got to weld them i thought about the caster and camber dont know what degree the wishbones should be set at & no info in the haynes
roadster book about cater.
ps- only using independent at the front gone for live axle at the back.

The Haynes books applies to cars using IRS on the back end and sierra front uprights - if you have bought a locost with a live axle I would use uncle
rons book. I have a copy you can have for a tenner inc post.

Look under 'info' in my photo archive and there is a drawing for setting up the front suspension brackets. Ignore the top shock absorber
bracket as this is for longer shock absorbers.

Only tack weld the brackets to the chassis. Then assemble your uprights wishbones etc etc and measure the Castor you have. You want a min of 5 Deg
Check by measuring the correct way of turning the wheels not by simply measuring the angle difference calculated by bracket position.
