Just some advice of what is considered to be the correct way to fit the extensions.. With a two lock nuts as in the the first picture or the second with a single lock nut...

I reckon the 2nd picture, butted/tightened up to the track rod end & with the lock nut on the steering rack end.

That is what i am planning on doing, just my opinion though

single as per second pic
ETA also having the second nut would mean less thread in the track rod end

Ditto as above. Stick a dab of locktite on the track rod end to extn if you like as well.

Yep, 2nd picture. Why add an extra nut? It just increases the weight............

yeah i agree pic 2...

have you deliberately fitted shocks the wrong way round to keep adjuster out of the way..

Thanks guys...

In answer to your question about the shocks.... yes I have deliberately mounted the shocks this way.. The build manual for the car states this is the correct way...

thanks...

2nd one also, but there has been one IVA failure because the examiner wanted pic 1 I have done as pic 2 but drilled a 4mm hole in the join and filled with weld, with photo as evidence.
