Just paint the edge with rubber solution and run on them

Miks15 - 9/3/10 at 07:58 PM

hopefullynot stating the bleeding obvious, but those discs are 5 stud, yor wheels are 4 stud?

And id imagine 17 inch at least

ashg - 9/3/10 at 07:59 PM

your going to need minimum of 18's to get those puppies on.

mookaloid - 9/3/10 at 07:59 PM

they would be fine on a saloon car but way too much on a seven

scootz - 9/3/10 at 07:59 PM

Nothing a big hammer wouldn't fix!

02GF74 - 9/3/10 at 08:04 PM

why - were the ones you have fitted not stopping you fast enough?

to big and vented will not get up correct working temp for most effective operations. thus endeth all I know about brakes.

Ivan - 9/3/10 at 08:09 PM

Put that lot on a 7 and you will nearly double the weight of the 7 - I guess that's a good thing because then you will have the brakes to stop it.

Your unsprung weight will be crazy high as well.

Otherwise great kit if you want to stop 1500 kg all day on the track.

Looks like you need a new tape measure.

iscmatt - 9/3/10 at 08:21 PM

so what car are these going on as they are obviously not for the 7

agreed he's yanking us along

Funnily enough I followed a very nice shiny RS6 up the m/way today. I was looking and thinking what a spanking car it is, I mean 500+ bhp V10 in a family saloon - bonkers. On the flip side, looking at it again I thought it must weigh close to 2 tons (possibly more) and that's a hell of a lot of inertia to redirect/stop at any great speed. Looking at those brakes I'm guessing they would do the job though.

turbodisplay - 9/3/10 at 08:47 PM

I fitted 345mm brakes under 17s with 5 mm clearance, so 380 will need 18 or 19 inch wheels.

they would go nice on my vectra estate.....

sorens2 - 9/3/10 at 09:13 PM

They are from the new Audi RS6 V10.

They will be mounted on a Audi TT-RS.
Running mainly the Nordschleife.

you'll be looking at 18's there mate. there are those on here that will say thats too big for a 7alike but i would disagree if you get the choice of wheel design right.

PuppiesBalls - 14/3/10 at 05:59 PM

I had 356's & they touched my 18" wheels
