Where can i find wheels with less offset??
My problem is this:
Currently I have a really big spacer, and the wheels only just clear parts of the the car. Even with the extra long studs there isnt enough thread
sticking out to get the nut fully on (it holds the wheel, but nothing more than that ie not safely). So the only solutuion i can see is wheels with
less offset, but where to get these?
Oh a i have tried the wheels on backwards looks ridiculous.
Hope this explains all:
wheel problem
Thanks
if there ford wheels the offset is probably 38mm or there abouts. peugeot or citroen in 108mm pcd is about 15mm offset i think - worth a look anyway.
Some manufacturers will make wheels with lower offsets - my rears were team dynamics pro race 1.2 on a 0mm offset ordered specially thru wheelmania
(they're made in the midlands somewhere IIRC) - You'll need to call a few people as these differing offsets are not often listed in the mags
and on the net...

Careful with Citroen rims as the centre bore is larger so you will need hub rings.
What wheels do you have?
Currently ford sierra ones.
Peugeot sounds like an interesting line of thought, will have to have a look at that.

xxl studs? or i would say the safer way would be to have your spacers modified so as they are bolted to your hubs(using a countersunk hole so the
bolts can be a lot shorter or even using standard bolts) and have allen bolts countersunk sticking outwards so you can bolt your wheels on. if you
want some custom made ones i can have them done for you by my freind in germany,he makes ultra high quality stuff and its TUV approved. i use them on
my quad, there spun from billet ally,no chineese junk! lol. www.tikt.de
