Hi, just been out to the garage. 'tis bloody cold!
Anyway, can anyone see any problems with running the fuel line round the engine bay (carbs side, not exhaust) to the front, and mounting my fuel
pressure regulator (filter king) at the front? Ideally I'd like it infront of the drivers footwell, but things are getting very cramped there!
Any problems with it being in a cold air stream?
Cheers
Hi Northy
I've fitted my Filter King near carbs attached to drivers bulkhead.
Its cool there but not too cool and easy to clean filter when needed. Its there OK for over 3000mls

Hi Northy,
I don't think it should be a problem (given a sufficiently rated pump and pipe diameter of course). If you only have space there I'd give
it a go. After all the fuel's not going to freeze is it!
The space was cramped in mine too, but because I added the regulator into the existing pipeline I still mounted it near the bulkhead. I put it on a
small cranked bracket. Sort of up and over the pipework etc.
Mine is the type without the filter bowl though, so it was slim enough to do that easily.

Dave
Cheers guys, I'll have a play today once I've finished the brake lines and see how much room I've got left
At last, something that might be straightforward..........
