Dunno, but if it won't fit on their rollers then they are going to have trouble with the brake tests and speedo calibration!
Take a trip down to the local SVA station and ask them! The lads in Newcastle are pretty friendly.

i wouldnt of thought you would want to go wider than a standard sierra anyway or the car would be wider than it is long

2 meters wide looks nice
I wish I had made my wishbones as I would have liked them another 4 in longer, pah.

max width
Thanks all for reply, its a question from work colleague who is a Land Rover enthusiast with an idea of turning a LR into a Hummer type vehicle which
he is planning on making super wide and asked if I knew what the max width is.
Turns out that the maximum width for SVA is 2.55m which sounds wide enough to me.
Wyn hope your going to post when your car is running at Llys-a-fran??

It's a good thng it'll be 4 wheel drive because half the roads in Pembrokeshire aren't that wide so he'll have all 4 wheels in
the hedges!
Llys y Fran is on the 13th May but unless I find a rolling road soon I'm stuffed :-(
All the Welsh dates are here

2.55 m is correct. It's a European standard.
But seem a little bit too width for a car.
Maybe you make a seven with 3 seats?
mine will be around 1.75 metre
