400 miles, 7 days since plates! Yeeee Haaaaaaaa!!
Only seven days since I got my plates and 400 miles clocked already!! Big smiles all round!
Only problem so far was that the suspension squeaked like a couple having a shag on an old sprung bed! Turns out that the shocks were rubbing on the
brackets at both ends (easily sorted with a grinder and about 20 mins work!) Get on with your builds and have as much fun as I am having - took it to
Sainsburys last night, took me longer to get out of the car park than to do the shopping! Everyone wants to know what it is etc etc etc! Even a pair
of coppers who were there over something else wanted to know all about it (in an un-official manner!). Then when I got home 2 ELectricity Board blokes
knocked on the door and wanted to know all about it (bit embarrasing as I told them to get lost, I don't buy anything on the door step! They were
actually off duty and were genuinely interredted in the car!!)
It is worth all the hastle with the SVA and believe me I moaned alot at the time but now it's all over I just can't get enough of it!!
Enough rambling for now from me, just get out there in your garages/carports/kitchens and get the bloody thing finished!
And a big big thanks to this site and its members for all the help and advice during the build.........

shit happens! (but why always to me!!)

Calm down you fool!!!. Or aren't you on a limited mileage policy?
yours, Pete.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
