SVA R1 Bike Mirrors
Who's used R1 bike mirrors to pass the SVA ?
I couldn't seem to get the angle right to see behind, any suggestions.
I swapped them for some later CBR 600 mirrors (not plastic encased) but they don't fold under pressure, which I understand is an SVA
requirement.
I might end up taking my scuttle to the bike shop.
Help !
Thanks, Lyn.

I believe they only need to fold in if they are wider than the front of the car.(Further than the wheels)
Although i have not got that far yet. I purchased some cbr600 mirrors from Mac#1 and they are supposed to be sva ok.

If the mirrors are contained within the overall width of the car, then they do not need to fold. On the other hand if they stick out further than
that, they do. Hope that helps. Chippy

used Honda VTR 1000 mirrors on my G27
just had to swap the supports (left mirror on right fixing and right mirror on left fixing ... and fixings are upside down compared to how they are
mounted on the bike
I now have the right angle and fold under pressure
