s.v.a fail b,ham but....

took my b.e.c avon (ZX9r) on a rainy tuesday morning (typical, probably the only day of rain well have) got there for 8am left at 12.15 talk about nerve racking he asked me to put it on the ramp, my legs were shaking that much i stalled it about 3 times, doh! still i am quite pleased with my self my first build it failed on;steering not self centering;fuel pipe from pump to main fuel line no markings(it was of the bike);no proof of max design speed of speedo (push bike speedo forgot to take leaflet which shows 99.9 max mph);and fast idle c.o. incorrect ,so not bad at all really, engine has developed a slight mis-fire so need to fix that before doing emissions, should be back in on saturday. cheers steve, from the mouth of the tester (andy)he said hes been there 4 years and only one car has passed first time,a replica that cost the owner £27,000 to build, you could be the second, but just expect to fail and either way you wont be disappointed.

If your bike speedo only reads to 99.9mph this will be insufficient as your car will be capable of greater than this speed.

I think your speedo only HAS to read up to 70mph, after that, you're illegal anyway.

keith i just checked out your photo archive(great car and i love the colour), are those fake disks you got on the back? sorry if im mistaken but the look too clean, and too close to the wheel. reminded me of the replica ferraris who need to extend their wheels massively to get to the body.
