SVA commpatible rear lamps
here they are, fitted. These are the Land Rover Defender reverse and fog lamps but in home made aluminium boxes. The template has been shown (search
for can you guess what it is yet).
After folding and lumiwelding the join, the lenses are fitted and 2 small screws hold the lens from below. The reflector is haled in place by a screw
through the lens and a piece of plastic acting as a nut at the other.
The tabs on the lamp base have holes drilled and held to the bodywork with self tappers (check that screws are clear of any wiring or fuel tank!).
Silcone sealant is used to seal the base and some clear glue to seal round the lens at the front.
If anyone wants the template, I can scan and post.

Those look sweet. For SVA I added a glob of clear silicon into the screw recesses as I had heard that on a particularly bad day some people had
failed their sva's for the shoulders of the recesses not being correctly radiussed
