SVA passed at Nottingham

YYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

What a huge relief! Went through sweet as a nut.

Still pinching myself at the moment, can't quite believe it.
Martin at the Nottingham SVA centre is an absolute star and extremely helpful, making the event less of a dread than I had anticipated.

Now where's that sun!

Thanks to all you guys for your help over the last two and a half years.
Your knowledge has got me out of some sticky situations.

All the best,

Dave

Thanks for your kind comments guys. Never thought I'd get to this stage sometimes.

Now how the heck do you get those pictures onto the forum?

I went into my archive, selected the picture , copied the url and pasted it into the insert picture url box. All I got was a red cross. Where did I go wrong?

Ye gods, am I chuffed

All the best,

Dave.

Congratulations on the pass....

Right click on the picture you want to add, copy the image location and in your reply use the add image button. Paste the location into the box it opens and it should appear in your post. If you have a picture on your hard drive you could attach it using the button under the post and browse for it.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Thanks Pete for the picture instructions and everyone for your nice comments, it's much appreciated.

Darren, yes they are luego exhausts (one either side). Originally the supplied units did not fit ,as the offset to bring them clear of the car sides was incorrect. They needed swan necks to increase the offset by 60mm.
Luego had the exhaust chappie visit me, he measured up and made the swan necks. They are ok now, and are quite an improvement on the earlier type.
Has anybody else had the same problem?

Anybody building a Viento and using the Luego exhausts, make sure they will clear the side of the car and spaced equally either side (mine didn't and as well as the swannecks, one side had to be cut and rewelded by Matt at Luego......top bloke BTW, very helpful)
It all worked out ok in the end as you can see.

Thanks again Guys

All the best,

Dave.
