SVA Tools!!

Right, packed the car for SVA but I think I may have gone a bit over the top!!! I have got most of the garage!!

I am now worried I have over done it and the car won't cope with trailer, car and tools etc!!

Any of you boys who have done SVA got a list of what you took?? or any suggestions welcome!

Rich.

Same here - took everything I could fit into the car! Turned out I didn't need anything as problems couldn't be fixed at the test centre, but it was worth the peace of mind to take them all.

Good luck with your test

Pete

Spanners including adjustable, tiewraps, extra foam and gaffer tape. Spare reflectors, screwdrivers and allen keys. A petrol can just in case of emergency.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Deep breaths Rich, it'll be ok. Sounds like you've got everything covered.

Good luck

Dan.

Took as many tools as I could get into my everyday car that my brother followed me in , all I needed was an allen key to release my brake bias bar locking device . As already suggested make sure your cordless batteries are fully charged, take plenty of nut covers . It's not the nightmare you expect, the guy that tested mine was brill really wanted the car to pass and was almost as sick as me when he told me I had to much rear bias and told me he was going to have a cuppa before he retested the brakes

I just took "THE BOX" and my trusty tool bag plus a little electric drill and some self tappers just in case. Rescued attachment tool bag 002.jpg
