Components contacting chassis

Hello

After some advise regarding components contacting the chassis. I modified the handbrake system on my mk indy so i could put the reverse starter motor above the prop. The handbrake system works fine and does not contact thw chassis but is close to it. If you push the cable and lickage to one side you can get it to contact the chassis. Do they do this on the iva test? And if so is it a fail?

Cheers
Rog

For SVA my handbrake cable was fastened to the chassis, but sleeved in rubber tube to protect it.

They checked my linkage didn't rub against anything in operation. Where the cable is sleeved is fine. Just where it met the handbrake. A photo would help here.

Cheers guys, ya i will try and upload a few pics. Just dont seem to able to get pics on here for some reason.

My main concern is with the linkage connection to the cable. At that point you can move the assemble across and touch the chassis, but you have to move it. I recon they might say it could move around in operation and touch the chassis. I will sort a pic though.

Cheers

Cheers for the feedback mate. I think it looks ok, just wasn't sure if mr iva says it can be pushed over with ease to touch the chassis. I recon I will go for it anyway. Thanks Rog
