Size of Radius Exempt Area Behind Steering Wheel?

Can any one tell me how to work out the size and position of the area behind the steering wheel that does not get radius checked at IVA?

Am I right that the area that is checked has to have minimum 19mm radiuses?

There's a diagram in the IVA manual (you can download it free, there's a sticky in the IVA area on this site), off the top of my head it's 127mm around the steering wheel to the bottom edge of the steering wheel.

i seem to remember that if you take your steering wheel radius, then add 127mm to it, anything behind this new radius is exempt....i think
