tax disc

hi all, i had a throught today, is there legal requiments where the tax disc has to be visble from?

as i have put mine on the passanger side transmisson tunnel, and just wondering if it is ok there?

It's supposed to be on the bottom left of the windscreen.

mine sits on the rear bulk head between the seats - no problems when the rozzers took a friendly gander at the car parked outside the cop shop

Strictly speaking it's got to be displayed on the left hand side of the windscreen. Motorbikes it has to be attached to the nearside.

I put mine on the centre tunnel, just in front of the gear lever.

When did you last see anyone actually checking discs? They rely on ANPR now.

nothing to do with tax disc question( haven,t built the car yet) but may i ask Hellfire a question?
on the photo showing location of your tax disc is that an intercom below the tax disc? looks smart,

Yes it is. It's an OMP Inter Classic Intercom.

Same as jacko - no windscreen, so on the side of the scuttle. I used countersunk hex screws with nyloks inside, so your average scrote will have a bit of a battle to get at it!

You can just about see where it is in this piccy.

For the money, it is pretty good quality audio IMO. It takes it's power from a 9V battery feed and I think we've replaced the battery three times in as many years.

if i change my mind & build the roadster instead of the single seater i,ll have an intercom, won,t need one in a single seater
