the speedo must be visible, can't see any probs.the way I looked at it was to think of what was visible from normal driving position of a production line car

looks fine, though you should make sure the warning lights (indicator, brake, fog)are visible

Mr whip, indicators are part of the R1 cluster, but you cant see them, do you realy have to see them?.

just fit a bigger production car steering wheel for the SVA, what’s the point on failing the test if you get a fussy tester who insists there’s little point in having a warning light if you can't even see it

Thats where mine are, so long as the speedo is in view it should be fine.

Looks good to me, Joe. I think your supposed to be able to see the warning lights though. If they say anything just say it's OK for you as they must be taller/shorter/less-deformed. I think there's some note that a says resonable amount of head movement is OK to see them.

Can you mount them so the speedo is visable for SVA and then adjust them later for better tacho view?

My R1 clocks are fitted in the same position and passed SVA OK.

It's a bit hit and miss. I failed my first SVA tests on a whole load of things but one thing the tester did gripe about was the fact that the speedo was behind the wheel and would (therefore) be sometimes obscured.....
