Steve,
nice looking build particuarily impressed with the trim that you used on the transmission tunel top.What is it and where did you get it if
you dont mind me asking.

The aluminium strips I bought from a metal supplier at Stoneleigh show - they were £3 each! - Glad you like them!
Quick update - posted the form now - committed!
Luego Locost C20XE.
Build start: October 6th 2008.
IVA passed Jan 28th 2011.
First drive Feb 10th 2011.
First show: Stoneleigh 1st/2nd May 2011.
'Used up' first engine may 3rd 2011!
Back on the road with 2nd engine may 24th
First PASA mad drive 26/7/11
Sold to Mike in Methyr Tydvil 19/03/14

I just read the exterior projections bit again and it seems it applys to mirrors to me?!?

There is one brief line on the manual which I think DavieP is referring to:
Page 127 of the manual - right at the bottom on the left says
"The assessment will not apply to exterior mirrors or to the ball of towing..."
and then it continues on the next page.

Just found it, page109/261 top left of page. (current manual as linked to above)
So it would appear that they are exempt, sweet
