Shock Covers

What do people use to cover the bottom of the spring, adjuster and thread on shock absorbers? SVA chap doesn't seem keen on self amalgamating tape

Thanks

Mine didnt like Self amalg tape either...

I used a CV boot to sit around the bottom, and a sleeve of rubber wrapped around the top part held on with cableties...

Your local motorfactor should stock various sizes of "standard" CV boots....

I used rubber tyres from a 1/10 scale model car. ATB Mart

Made mine from the rubber fitting that seals the flush pipe from a remote cystern to a toilet pan having removed the inner tubular part that fits inside the pan. Perfect fit over the springs.
