Choke Cable Position??

SVA man have any objection to where I've put the choke cable and the supporting bracket??
Only problem for me is I can't reach it with the harness on Rescued attachment Choke.jpg

You dont have to reach it with the harness on fully, just make sure it is warm for SVA and you wont need to touch it.
I have mine roughly in the same place, can't see a problem as long as he can't hit it with his dome thingy.

I don't recall being asked to do up my harness - the mounting points are checked, that is all.

Pushing the choke in when driving may be an issue though.

If you have twin dellortos, then if you follow the secret starting sequence, you won't need the choke for more than 1 minute at most on very cold days.

ZX9R carbs on a zetec. The cable only pulls out about 20mm for the fully open position.

I havent fitted one to mine yet. When i first fire her up i just whip off the bonnet and push the lever across by hand.
