Battery Location in the cabin?
coozer - 10/2/08 at 09:37 PM

I have my small Red Top battery on a handy shelf inside the passenger footwell. It sits on a ledge beside the gearbox panelling and I would like to know how to secure it so its SVA friendly!

I thought of enclosing it with an stainless panel made out of a chip fryer...

Any advise for getting through SVA???

the terminals need to be covered

I like the look of the OBP battery box for the Red Top.

@ £12 you can't go wrong, and you can still cook ya chips!

simply bend some ally like blake has shown
seems the quickest, cheapest and would even look good. And some nice new sparkly terminal covers ofc.

Nice one Blake, simple as it gets.

Is SVA man not worried about all the cables at the top??

maybe some nice big convoluted tube would see all those cables secured together and hidden?

as long as theres no bare wires and nothing wobbles or moves

does it look right to you ?
