This was in my local pub yard.

It was only a tap on the gate post.
Notice that the top suspension arm is broken clean through. Ooerr.

Yeah, prolly only a tap on the gatepost on full lock with the post between the rear of the wheel and the body...

Didn't use rod ends then? (those of you following another thread will understand !)

You just KNOW that the entire pub clientèle will have been either outside the pub, or looking out of the window, when that happened!

You have to feel sorry for the poor bloke...
