Fuel Line mounting
Dave Bailey - 1/5/07 at 08:51 PM

Hi!,
Plan to attach some small brackets in the tunnel to mount my fuel line per the attached photo. Anyone see a problem with this method for SVA? Plus where have people routed the tubes through past the diff? all seems a bit tight!

Yep I think your fuel lines are a bit short...

On a more serious note - will the inspector pass those as a permanent method of fixing the fuel line. They could argue that the tubing could come loose from the 'clip'

Cheers

the clips are from a standard production car so I thought they would be o.k.!

Are the fuel lines rubber i thought the fuel lines had to be run in copper?

rubber fuellines are ok as long as they have written on them that they are suitable for fuel.

these are nylon

You could'nt use those clips for rubber, it will have to be a hardline of some-sort, Nylon should be o.k. you could take a pic of set up in a production car to show SVA man it's excepted practice...
