Will these bonnet vents need any mesh behind them for SVA or are they ok as they stand? Opinions please....

I don't think the standard 4"/5" sphere will contact those Chris also they are rear facing so in theory should be alright.

You could radius the hole lips if you're that concerned, but I'd go along with Hellfire re sphere not contacting.

'No sharp edges' is a good general rule to consider - if they can't be reached with the sphere then just round the edges off.

After the photo was taken i blunted the edges and they passed He did check they were less than 40mm though.
