All new parts with one component allowed to be reconditioned to 'as new' with receipts for everything!
an expensive way to go tbh
There are a couple of ways.
1, Provide receipts showing that engine has been reconditioned to an 'as new' standard. And provide receipts showing all other parts as
new.
2, You might know its powered by a Pinto but I doubt whether DVLA would know. Therefore, get a V5 from a 53 plate and tell DVLA this was your donor
vehicle.
Easy............................
So whats the back end, gearbox, steering column in the car above ??
All I remember about it is that it uses an injection pinto and he made his own plenum chamber (oh and it has an extra high widscreen).
saw it at Donington last year.

There is a much simpler way. Just get some show plates made and stick them on when parked up. Just make sure they are not used on the road. If you look carefully the plate makers name and postcode are missing which means that plate is illegal for highway use anyway.
Don't forget that with a newer reg, you'll also find a more stringent smog test required.
