Barrie, a superb offer, I might well take you up on that, it might be for 2 though, Robinbastd wants to come along too (plus I need him as support wagon, I have an impressive SVA first aid kit brewing!)

robinbastd - 3/11/04 at 11:01 PM

Moral support, yes. Inappropriate sense of humour, yes. Cigarette rolling, yes. Large estate car, yes.

billy - 4/11/04 at 08:41 PM

only joking Mr G. honest, whoops ive done it now

billy - 8/11/04 at 06:00 PM

ive just realised that im gonna need a rear view mirror on the middle of my dash cant find 1 thats eu marked and im almost out of time.dam

David Jenkins - 8/11/04 at 07:23 PM

Billy,

Don't fret about markings - just find one that's big enough, and has nice rounded edges.

I made mine from bits of a standard car mirror, but you may not have time to do that - I'm sure that someone on here will tell you of a saloon mirror that'll do the job.

rgds,

David

Peteff - 8/11/04 at 08:08 PM

Drill the bottom where the sticky pad goes and screw it to the top of the scuttle with a reinforcing plate on the other side or block off the gap in the roll bar so you can't see back through it then you don't need one. Vans with solid back doors don't have one.

billy - 8/11/04 at 08:33 PM

cheers lads, i just knicked a old one off a m8, hope i can sort it. looks real naff tho
