After 2 years of building I passed my IVA at Nottingham.
There was a few adjustments need but Martin, at the test centre, was really helpfull.
The worst part of the day was the fact that it didn't stop rainning. I had to bale all the water out the car when I got it off the trailer.
Thanks to everyone on the forum that has helped when I didn't have a clue what I was doing, especially big_was because without him I still
won't have the engine running.
Doesn't it look better after an IVA
pass
a huge well done on the pass
Fantastic result M8, hope my baked been can was fitted!
Excellent, well done.
Really nice to hear that many of the VOSA guys are helpful.
Congratulations
Was the IVA as bad as some people say ?

Well done !

well done mate. car looks tidy!
Well done mate. Mine went to Nottigham and I agree Martin was very helpful.
All you need now is some good weather.
thats great news! good job
Lee
oooh that special feeling
There is really nothing like it
Trust me you will feel even beter as weeks go by and the first time you say "I built that" WoW
BTW, how 'close' were the upper seat belt mounts in the end, and did you manage to cover the fusebox in the passenger well or not bother?
Nice one. Soon be on the road.
nice one fella two years well spent! will keep my fingers crossed for some good weather for you!
will you be taking your pride and joy to stoneleigh?
Well done bud! That's great news
Nice one, well done
Well done.
Maybe drill some holes in the floor to save on bailing.
The IVA its self isn't to bad. A bit nerverewracking but martin, the tester, made the whole experiance bareable.
My advice to anyone else would be to book it in at Nottingham, take a good selection of spares including spare edge trim and nut covers. Check under
the dash for sharp edges and un-covered bolts. Oh and pick a day when its not raining.

I see you aren't far from me. Which test centre did you use - Nottingham or Beverly?

Congratulations! That was pass first time wasnt it? See you at stoneleigh
Well done, will have to meet up when the weather is better, you are only down the road.
Well done, i shouldn't be too far away from the iva myself now. How did you cover the headlight mounting nut/bolt? It's one of the few things left on my to do list.
I am going to try and take it to Stoneleigh weather and registration dependent.
