Seatbelt/Harness mount covers

Took a punt on some Ford Capri belt covers of eBay. I think they turned out to be pretty good.

They will fasten on loosely with a tie wrap or I guess i could add a blob of adhesive t the bolt head.

Do we think they will suffice or will the small amount of harness buckle still need covering?

Oh and I have since rounded off the square edge visible.

well it's what production cars use so should be just fine

Depending how arsey the inspector is, he might deem cable ties as not "of a type used in production cars". Maybe better to glue them onto the bolts?

my tin top has heaps of cable ties, usually though those covers just clip onto the bracket and normally can just be pulled off by hand

Exactly my thoughts. They will move around with the cable ties but you cannot expose the razor sharp lethal edges beneath

Glueing them assumes he will not want to check bolts used for harnesses ??
