IVA change
1st image:Simplified representation of front suspension of frame based vehicle with exposed suspension
2nd image:Contactable exterior surfaces of functional steering and suspension components are assessed against relevant radius requirements.
3rd image:Items within the volume enclosed by suspension components are exempt from exterior projection assessment.
For a change it makes things easier!
I've just had a few days off work and spent alot of that messing around making the front end IVA friendly!!!!
When does this come into force?
I am actually quite scared.... some sort of logic appears to have been applied.... 
I saw that in the updated IVA Manual two and thought does that mean no more covering suspension items.
Then again i was going to do the IVA book and chuck pictures of mine up to get opinions as my indicators come halfway across from suspension.

i believe they have been applying it for quite a while prior to the new manual release coming out
no they haven't. I had to radius my shock absorber bottoms and spring "C" ring two weeks ago for sharp edges!
I'm now hacked off as reshaping the shockers is not a pleasent thing to do and difficult to maintain the asthetic of the units !

So that means no more radiusing shocks and springs and rubber boots, but presumerably still means that frame brackets have to be protected, along with
the outer end of the steering arm and ball joint, any camber adjustment in the top wishbone?
I still stand by the fat that if you’e hit by a wishbone you have bigger problems than a ball joint with no heat shrink over it!

Most stupid thing with the front end is, checking the brake calipers with the radius thing. You've got enormous problems as a pedestrian, if the brake caliper radius is affecting you.
