Replacement passenger mirror is ready to go on. We havent covered the track rods + camber adjuster yet as we need to set up the self centering.
It does need a good clean and hoover out but as far as we can tell we think were almost there.

Looks good, you may need a cover over the front shocks adjuster. I just pushed a but cover over.
Also is the edge of your aero screen to the correct radius? You may be better taking it off for the SVA.

The mirror mounting points may be a bit sharp, can't see them very well, and if it was me I would loose the aero screen until after the test.

I cannot quite make out the bonnet catches that you are using. Are they SVA compliant as the edges look quite sharp in the photos.
Do you need to fit something on the centre of the steering wheel?
with the cable tie's push the square bit
were it has been cut push it under out of the way.so the tie is just showing.as
they fail you on this as a sharp edge..
Batt +ve needs a cover as do starter and alternator +ve terminal. Bleed nipples to cover edge of flat bar on front wing stay (horizontal brace between
round bars).
Bonnet securing ( don't know how your doing it but there are bits sticking out at the moment.

tranny cover and cockpit edges look like they'll need a bit of attention as well they look quite sharp in the pics.

Aero screen was indeed too sharp! We've just started rounding it off - I notice a couple of you saying take it off, is there any other reason
other than the rad?
Rear reflectors are on - under the lights you just cant see them very easy against the red, unless you mean something else about them?
Mirrors are from CBS and state 'SVA ok' so I assume they are ok - they seem to be radiused on all edges.
Good point on the square tie bar! And the positive terminals - wasnt aware of that one.
Will remove numberplate holder if its going to be an issue?
Does the rear fog angle look ok - I've read some stuff about being vertical etc?
Bonnet catches are the rubber ones from RS components - I think a few people on here have used them and passed SVA with them?
You may also notice the drivers side track rod end is the wrong side! Going to get the right one on there this week (previous owner fitted opposite
way around!).

Not really SVA, but I reckon the front wing supports need beefing up, only 1 support will not last long at all - id be suprised if they were still
both attached when you got to the SVA lol

They look the same as mine and they were supplied by MK. They are fixed at the top and bottom of the front hubs.

Rear reflectors are not radiused around th edges. The harness mounts need trim around them and it doesn't look like the mushroom adapter in the
front hub has been bolted through. This one's on the increase, you need to drill right through the hub and one side of the mushroom and bolt it
or tap it so the mushroom can't pull out.
Oh and another one that's getting pulled on some but not all is the unradiused edge on the steering arm of the front hubs.

Hi there you need to drill and bolt your front suspension mushrooms. Easy to drill from rear and tap a tread in then fit small bolt.
^^^^^ What he said above about drilling and bolting the mushrooms inserts, I was at Beverley and he picked up on this with me and I have to prove that
my set screw actually entered the insert as I threaded the upright. Thankfully I had pictures to prove it did!!

I mentioned it as his location is Bradford and probably is going to Beverley. Where I went, I believe the mushroom thing is a regional thing with sva,
different interpretations of the rules.

You need to trim the edges all round the seats not just the harness holes or it will fail the radius check.
I just noticed the brake flexis are touching the wishbones. You need to make sure there's no contact at all throughout the steering range. SVA don't like chafing..
To get the rear fog light vertical, undo the mounting screws a bit and wedge in some foam strip or small dia tubing between the top of the light and the housing.

I had no idea about drilling through to prevent the mushroom pulling out. Not a problem though we'll get that done. Will also address the
flexi's if they are rubbing anywhere.
We're booked into Chadderton on 31st March, so still a couple of weeks to iron out any issues.
