Just been on the phone with VOSA 'cause there's a few problems with my application and was told they just delayed the introduction of the
IVA till the 20th March - so three more weeks to get your applications in chaps

That's good news as I only sent my application yesterday and if there are any problems with it I have some more time to sort it out.
IVA wasn't coming in until the end of April anyway. There was always going to be a gap between the cut off of SVA applications and the start of IVA inspections to clear the SVA backlog. Did they actually say that they would be accepting SVA applications and supporting information after the 28th Feb?
Yes, sorry to be unclear - they are now accepting applications for SVA till the 20th March.

Sort of wish i'd decided to go for getting mine through SVA now 
conversation I had with them yesterday pm was slightly different,
deadline for receiving applications is TODAY.
They are going to allow a couple of weeks to sort out
any queries, but test will still have to be before end of April
If you haven't sent it yet - don't.
Drive to VOSA, you have 3 HOURS

Just this minutwe got off the phone to the SVA office who said they would accept up to 20th March, but everything has to be completed by then.
