Will as long as its E marked. Beware that even if its FIA approved, it still needs to be E marked to pass.

^ check the manual on that, as it says something along the lines of it has to have 'one of the following approval makrs', one of which is the E mark

check all seat belts fitted either:
a) bear one of the following approval markings confirming compliance
-a designated appoval mark (E or e)
-a british standard marking for passive belt systems (BSAU183:1983)
-a british standard marking for a harness belt (BS3254:1960 or BS3254 part 1 1988)
-a specification marking which (in association with documentation where necessary) demonstrates that the requirements of a european standard corresponding to any of the british standards for a seat belt for use by an adult as referred to in regualtion 47 of the road vehicles (C&U) regulations or
b) have equivalent characterisitics to that of a belt approved for the same catagory of vehicle
check the characteristics include,
i) the webbing is of equivalent type of material and where it is likely to come into contact with the body of the wearer is at least 46mm (33mm for harness belt shoulder straps) in width
ii) all componants are protected from corrosion
iii) the buckle, when under load and not under load, can be released by a single movement in one direction by either hand
iv)the locking mechanism is not less than 46mm in width
v)for static seat belts there is a manula adjusting device
-accesible to the wearer while seated
-easy to use
-capable of being tightened with one hand
vi) for a retracting belt
-blah blah blah.

there's a lot more to it that being E marked....

Sorry should have gone into more detail!

I have put a car through an SVA with these harnesses on,which passed, but there are some sabelt harenesses that are FIA marked, and not E marked!

FIA probably exceeds most of those sepcs above, but is not tested to them - hence SVA failure (or so the examiner told me lol).

true enough its a bit more cut and dry if they've got the e mark on them. but as you see from what i copied out the SVA manual, they don't HAVE to have the E mark

but if they are e marked, its easier

Ah see what you mean now!

its certainly the angle i'm going for with mine....

Mine went through with Sabelt road harneses no problem , but I assume you are not using those exact belts unless you are building a 2 door saloon version and need access to the rear seats and hence unbucle the rear mount ?
