Do you mean the reservoir is touching the bulkhead?

First thing to check is that it is not pushed away from the bulkhead, i.e. the reservoir isn't being "bent" on its mount.

If that's OK you could glue a small strip of rubber on the bulkhead to reduce the effect of any vibration.

Still not sure what Mr SVA would say

you could always fit a spacer between the cylinder and the bulkhead, You'd just need to lengthen your push rod by a few mm too.

looks like a spacer could be easiest

unless someone got a better idea?

if you have, had to question it, then in your mind you think that it's not ok. i would make a spacer for it and im sure the sva tester would suggest the same.

i dont think it would fail but it would definatly get a mention.

it will be a lot easier to make a 2p spacer now rather than fail the sva still have to make a spacer and then pay for a retest.

remove the reservoir and use a rubber hammer and hit a dent in the fire wall to allow it to have a small gap between them
it's up to you. hit it if it's only just touching the firewall to make a clerance. just a thought....

I would go with relieving the bulkhead with a ball pean hammer myself

My resevoir touched so I pulled it off and turned it around.

It then fitted perfectly !

Mine touched so I cut a (bigger) hole in the bulkhead (well, it was full when I decided to do something about it, and removing it didn't figure in my list of "fixes")
