As soon as I get my kit (February I sincerely hope) I'll let you know how I get on I am aiming to devote a reasonable amount of time to the build but familiy commitments tend to get in the way don't they How's your's coming along?

Mine drives, but no coolant yet so not very far. Also need to bleed the brakes but there's not a lot of point until I get the side panels on.

Cleaned up and painted the alternator bracket the other night so hoping to get that on at the weekend, meaning I can also get the water pump going and therefore have some coolant. With any luck it'll get a run down the drive on Sunday... fingers crossed!

Gazza,
Are you building your car in the spare room?? I have never seen a garage like that! (Especially not mine!). How are you going to get it down stairs when you finished it?

Nottingham Meeting

How is it that my garage looks like it's twice the size of Gazza's and yet only has half the space? Could it be because I'm an untidy bugger?

{hijacking thread slightly} Findley234 - I'm still on for meeting up. Maybe you, me and Gazza should arrange a date for the inaugral Notts Velocity owner's club meeting? Pub?

Anyone else nearby?

Eddie

Just coming up to 2 years when we collected the 'book' chassis. Most of the design work is complete, brakes, cable harness, handbrake, rear axle, steering are all in, ali panels are fitted. GRP bits have been fettled and some are fitted. We are starting final assembly and within the next few weeks it will be off the build trolley and on wheels for the first time and all being well we are looking to be on the road late Spring early Summer.
