Been looking through past threads but can't find what I'm looking for. Just filled in sva. question 17 date engine made
engine is 1600 Xflow no. 711m6015ba.
Is there any way of finding out year?

Check the engine number. It is stamped (not cast) on a flange on one side of the engine. You have to look down from above. Think it maybe on the exhaust side. Its usually two letters followed by a few numbers. The two letters refer to the year of manufacture which you can reference against the info in the burtonpower catalogue. If you post the two letters on here someone will be able to tell you year it is. Dont give the whole engine number away as someone may decide to borrow it.
