What a day

Took the car to Northampton Motorsport yesterday afternoon. They're only 2 miles from my house so I just drove the car there on the base map.

The car is now running a virtually standard 2.0 duratec, on GSXR 1000 TB's Omex 600 and modified pinto 4-1 exhaust

Delighted with Troy and bloody awesome skills. After just under the 2 and a half hours it ran like a new car

188.9bhp (mustn't forget the .9 ) and 154.9 lb-ft torque.

Very happy with that indeed.

I then took the car for an MOT at Motorvation (Northampton Motorsports send all the car they do up there apprently)
Car flew through the MOT without a single advisory

went for a spirited blast after the MOT and BLOODY HELL its like a different car......much much more fun to drive....even a little bit scary, but im sure Ill soon get used to that.

I upgraded the wheels, tyres, front brake and pedal box too which make the car feel much better too.

next upgrades inlude, rear discs (for aesthetics really) full paint job, and possibly a full roll cage

Thankyou for all the help advice from the good folk on this forum

190 bhp.

Are you pleased with the gsxr1000 throttle bodies? Was it a pain with the two injectors per port?

Thanks Karlak, you definitely wont be disappointed if you take it there.

hahaha, well I suppose 190bhp is easier to say when down the pub

Yeah I was very pleased with the GSXR TBs, it didnt take much tweaking to get them balanced.

The only thing Troy did comment on was that the sping on them is quite week, which makes them very sensitive.
Ill fit a spring to the pedal box to help with this.

Im only using injectors in the head and have blanked off the TB injector ports
