I've got non- luego mushroom adaptor - Sorted.

bought these sierra front upright adapters from OBP - they have a fitting hole in the middle. They were 15quid as opposed to the 100 luego charge - only theirs has the hole off - centre. did a trial fit (no wheels or engine weight) and it looks like I'm going to find it hard to achieve any negative camber. Has anyone else tried these - see photos

Yes I've got the blue ones. I can't see how you're not going to get camber though. Can you not just screw the top ball joint back into the top arm to get your camber.

I understand your problem.

I have the offset adaptors on my viento and if i didnt i would have positive camber, it looks like the top wishbones have been made to long and im going to trim the end of the bone back with the angry grinder, only about 10mm with the offset adaptors fitted.

I think the only option is new shorter top bones, i will remake my top bones over the winter.

top hats

beware the offset ones are also offset on the c/l axis. e.g. the taper is not paralell to the o.d.
i think u run out of articulation on some ball joints without the offset.

I got my ones from MNR for my luego, still not built but they are offset and at 37 quid, much more reasonable than the luego price when i got my kit about 4 years ago.

MNR are great to deal with too.

Hope you manage to get round th problem

Tried MNR today, you are right, they are very helpful, but he said they haven't stocked the sierra conversion bosses for over a year! (even though they are still advertised on their website).

Looks like I'm going to have to get the 24 carot gold plated ones from Luego!

got the ones from Luego - they are not quite the same now, I don't think, and Ben only charged me £80 all in.

The offset taper is now parrallel to the boss's axis - reference the reply I think g.gilo mentioned this?

negative camber

Hi guys

I also had this problem, and was told by Ben that there was a maufactureing problem with the old luego, i could only achieve 3deg of possitve camber (no negative at all this was overcome by new lower wishbones now supplied by Ben and they are a good 1" or so longer so now can easily achieve negative camber.

Also watch the top ball joints. Some do not have thread all the way along them, so you cant screw them fully in, thus limiting the camber as well.

So check they are fully threaded before you buy the top joints.

Every little helps when it comes to camber and castor!

Did Ben say whether it was the top or bottom arms that they changed?
