As per the title really, all comments welcome. I will be installing a cooling fan on the front blowing through. Just got to organise the coolant pipes now.
This is from the back and above.

And yes that is the utility room sink in the background of the first 2 photos. And yes the first on is a little fuzzie.

Nice work, Clive - The end must surely be in sight?...

richard thomas - 9/11/07 at 07:32 PM

Clive, I read somewhere that you should try to use some rubber washers in there somewhere to insulate the rad from vibration - they don't like it apparently...

Mind you, I never used any....but thought I should pass on the info

Yep already thought of that. The Alloy sheet is fairly thin and flexible but the bulk of the radiator weight is/will be taken on the bottom rail and the radiator its self is mounted by its lower mounting pins onto this bottom rail through rubber grommets. IF the whole assembly (alloy sheet) proves too thin then I can use it as a template on heavier gauge if necessary.

Thanks for the thought anyway Richard.

Confused but excited. - 10/11/07 at 05:35 PM

Very nice job.

jollygreengiant - 11/11/07 at 11:58 AM

Thanks lads. After seeing Ricky's Rad I'm going to sulk now. So its off to do a bit of shopping then when I get back I'm going to try and make an impressive battery tray to sit down in the bottom of the nearside engine bay between the engine mounting and the front bulk head.

Oh and I'm trying to move wheres Luego down the listings.
