Looking good buddy. It also looks like your a bit ahead of me, oh well I shall have to have some holiday soon and play some more catch-up.
Enjoy.
Unless the Velocity is different from the Luego Locost I think you may have to strip the front suspension and brakes off to fit the side panels . Hope I'm wrong!!
looking good mate i like how you have mounted the wiring for behind the dash
i am the over way round had to give up my job in feb due to illness so ive got loads of time of work to work on the car but got no dosh to buy any
thing so its slowed down the build a lot.
still glad i was adviced to join the site as iam finding out things each time i come on here ,ie: did not no about the rad fitments probs
jim
rusty - nuts ... nopt, your right, the side panels are meant to go on first, but i learnt from the first car, that its easier to do everything with
the side panels off, and fit them nearer the end... you can get to stuff so much easier, and its only the front wishbones and the shocks you have to
take off to mount the side panels...
the brakes dont have any fluid in at the moment either, cause i knew that i would have to strip the brake lines for the side panels too.
im also gonna get the side panels painted body colour too and i dont want to scratch them.
yups he has a point.
disadvantage will be you reale need to undo everything because the side panels.
flip over de border.
sow problem will be drilling the holes for the pop rivets.
(if you put them in the inner side (like it should be IMHO))
Tks
