Looks to me like you have far too much time on your hands Ian i got a full set of hubs that need sand blasting painting and new bearing fitted if you wanna do some more pmsl.

Looking good tho still thats only 4 a cylinder engine lol

saigonij - 13/5/07 at 05:56 PM

ah!!! well while you and John are still spinning your rear wheels trying to get traction, i will have already been round the block twice!!!! ;-)

if you want the hubs cleaned up, i used the elctrolosis method and wored a treat. get john to drop them off during the week and ill give them a dip.

tks - 13/5/07 at 06:03 PM

wy did you / they cut of the cables to the connectors?

would be better to leave a bit more cable..
for the loom.

Tks

saigonij - 13/5/07 at 06:09 PM

simon,

come round and measure them yourself - we are both in tunbridge wells.

im down by sainsbury's.

Mark,

Im currently using the ford ECU. but...

what state is the Megasquirt in? Is it fuel and spark? Is it fully built?

Ian.

mark-wiring - 13/5/07 at 09:07 PM

Nope no real pics yet still waiting for Ben to send some down of the chassis but in theroy we should be picking it up next weekend fingers crossed.

Ian the megasquirt is almost brand new mate I have had it a while and fitted it once and got me engine running with it have the eddis and wiring for it too software and it has a base map and a serial to usb that works a treat. All you would need is a wideband sensor and controller to get it setup properly yourself I have just lost interest in doing it to my escort.

Iv'e got a set of gsxr 750 tb's on manifold 2

Let me know

mark-wiring - 13/5/07 at 09:10 PM

Oh and Simon the driveshaft cups are either 100mm std seirra or 107mm seirra cosworth so depends which one Ian has but looking at it i would say 100mm.

Think thats right but i will check

saigonij - 14/5/07 at 07:24 AM
