thinking i would like to source a fibreglass rear panel to tidy up my rear end as i am having it apart for paint soon, will also make life easy as i have to change the pump.
can you guys recomend any suppliers?

I recommend leaving it, but if you really want a VERY good back panel, call AGM Sportscars. Alan is a super nice guy and very businesslike.

i would leave it alloy if i could repanel it and do a good job
but all the hard work is done with the fibreglass panel and they look great so it seems a no brainer to me.
can i leagally move the rear lights off the wings to the rear panel?

it just needs a good clean and polish! Autosol to the rescue!

opps in a fit of madness when i was actually just going to fit new runners to the drivers seat i have started stripping the rear panels as i was just not happy with them and will be going for the fibreglass panel.

god i hate drilling out pop rivets

I don't have any pictures to hand. I can take one at the weekend if you like? I panelled it out with aluminium and it makes a fair size boot. The cover was made by a chap who drives a tiger and was very reasonable, see an earlier post for details.

The panels can be unscrewed and removed if required although I did seal behind the joints so it would be a major task.

i like your solution you have ended up with a pretty usefull boot there.
i am just finishing up my firewall panel today so will be tackling the rear panel next weekend hopefully

finished my firewall panel just got to make a bracket for my oil catch can and finish off tidying the wiring then its onto the new dash



Ecu in its safer and hopefully dry new home

pretty much got the electrics all back together now just got main beam not working (relay clicks) and one indicator at the back not working so not bad result i thought after having it all apart lol.

it started up first turn after being not run all winter (impressed) and ran like a clock thankfully my ecu extension cable seems to work perfectly and the longer tube for the map sensor does not seem to have affected it either.

hoping to fit the new dash panel and wire up the new fuel guage by the end of this week and track down the lighting faults.

i would like the side panels to be black thinking about wrapping them

its alive now with quiet fuel pump and non leaking sump

actually moved under its own steam too, new pedal box feels superb very pleased with it after the ball ache of fitting it.

the to do list is getting shorter all the time
